Tietoa tuotteesta
Cutleaf stephanandra "Crispa" (Stephanandra incisa) is a low, spreading deciduous shrub with arching branches and crinkled, deeply cut foliage. An excellent ground-cover shrub for slopes and large rock gardens.
It grows to about 0.4–0.7 m tall and 1–1.5 m wide and is slow-growing. In June–July it bears small, fragrant white flowers in panicles, and in autumn the leaves turn yellow-orange. It is hardy (USDA zone 3) and suits Estonian gardens. Supplied in a 2 L pot (18 cm).
Ideal for covering slopes and larger areas, low edging, rock gardens and as a solitary plant by the lawn. Tolerates pruning well and attracts bees.

Agronomin neuvot
Planting. Container plants can be planted throughout the season. For ground cover plant 2–3 shrubs per square metre, at the same depth as in the pot, and water well.
Watering and feeding. Water regularly in dry weather during the first summer — the roots dislike drying out. In spring add a layer of compost or a general shrub fertiliser.
Care and pruning. In spring remove frost-damaged and very old shoots; the shrub also tolerates hard rejuvenation pruning. Arching branches root where they touch the ground, forming dense cover.
Winter. Hardy and needs no winter protection in Estonia. In severe winters shoot tips may be damaged — cut them back in spring and the shrub regrows quickly.
