Planting Plant in spring or autumn in a sunny spot in dry, well-drained soil; wet soil is unsuitable. Space plants 30–40 cm apart.

Pruning Cut back by a third to a half after flowering to keep the shape compact and encourage fresh growth.
Feeding and winter care Feed in spring with compost or a slow-release fertiliser. Hardy; no extra cover is needed.
