Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Arborvitae Thuja occidentalis ‘Golden Brabant’ is a slim, columnar evergreen with golden-yellow foliage that stays bright in winter with a slight bronze tint. It grows roughly 20–30 cm a year – a popular plant for a golden hedge or accent, for sale in our nursery.
Good for a dense hedge, for framing a garden entrance or for a large pot on a terrace. It copes well with Estonian winters, and the colour is brightest in full sun. Supplied in a 9 cm pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in a sunny or lightly shaded spot, in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. For a hedge, space plants 60–80 cm apart.
Care Water young plants regularly, especially in the first year and in dry spells, and mulch around the roots. Feed with a conifer fertiliser in spring; young plants can be lightly covered in winter against dry sun.
Use The upright shape suits hedges, specimen planting, entrances and large containers.
