Eastern white cedar "Yellow Ribbon" (Thuja occidentalis) is a narrow, columnar cultivar with golden-yellow, in places orange-tinted foliage that stays bright in winter too.
The plant grows at a moderate rate and reaches 2–3 m tall and 60–90 cm wide, ideal as a specimen, in group plantings, as an accent or in large containers. Buy thuja Yellow Ribbon in Estonia at ALLIKASILM.

Agronoma ieteikumi
Planting. Plant in a sunny spot because the golden colour holds only in good light. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball with the root collar at soil level; space plants 60–80 cm apart.
Care. Mulch with bark or peat. Clipping is optional; in spring remove dead shoots and lightly tidy the crown if needed.
Watering and feeding. Thuja dislikes drying out: in dry weather water thoroughly once a week, especially in the first two years. Apply conifer fertiliser in spring and a light feed in summer.
Winter care. The cultivar is hardy. Mulch young plants for the first winter and shade them in spring with light fleece; loosely tie the column with a soft band in wet snow.
