About this product
Natural slug deterrent — a powder poured around the bed as a barrier strip. The strip is hard for a slug to cross: the powder dries out its mucus glands and it turns back.
It is not a poison — the product works physically. That makes it suitable where strawberries, lettuce and herbs grow, and where children and pets come and go.

Advice from our agronomist
Keep the strip unbroken. One gap and the whole job is wasted — the slug will find that spot.
Renew it after rain. Wet powder does not work. Top the strip up several times at the start and repeat after every rain and watering.
Lay it in the evening. Slugs move at dusk and at night — by then the strip should be in place and dry.
