Fertiliser sticks for house and balcony plants, 100 g, Baltic Agro
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Houseplants go unfed not out of laziness but because there is nothing to hang the habit on: watering is daily, feeding is fortnightly, and it is the fortnightly thing that gets forgotten. A stick turns feeding into a single act that lasts a couple of months.
The nutrients are slow-release: the plant takes them up gradually with the watering, and no salt concentration builds up in the pot to brown the leaf edges.
Suits both houseplants and summer flowers in window boxes.

Advice from our agronomist
Push the stick in near the rim of the pot, not against the crown of the plant.
In a large pot place several sticks evenly around the circle.
Most houseplants rest in winter: do not feed then, or the plant stretches in the low light.
Give a freshly repotted plant its stick only after two weeks.
Brown leaf edges usually mean feeding that is too strong or dry air, not a shortage — work out which before adding more.
