Sowing. Sow the seeds for seedlings in late March – April in light seed compost about 0.5 cm deep and keep them warm (around 20–25 °C) and bright.
Planting out. After the frosts are over (late May – early June) plant the seedlings in a greenhouse or a sunny, sheltered bed; support them if needed.
Care. Water evenly at the roots, feed with a tomato fertiliser during the season and remove surplus side shoots.
