Par preci
"Stake Steel" tomato stake Lucia ELITE 180 cm is a green plastic-coated steel stake 180 cm tall for tying up tomatoes and other tall vegetables and flowers. The packaging carries Lithuanian labelling.
The sturdy steel support carries the weight of a tall indeterminate tomato with its fruit and lasts many seasons, unlike wooden stakes. The plastic coating protects the steel from corrosion and is gentle on the stems.
Simply push the stake into the soil next to the plant and tie the stem with a soft tie. The 180 cm height suits tall crops such as indeterminate tomatoes that need a tall support.

Agronoma ieteikumi
Installation. Push the stake into the soil next to the plant deep enough to stay stable (at least 25–30 cm), 5–10 cm from the stem, carefully so as not to damage the roots.
Tying. Tie the stem with a soft tape or twine in a figure of eight, leaving slack for the stem to thicken. As the tomato grows, tie it up every 20–30 cm.
Care. After the season clean the stake of soil and plant remains. To prevent disease, wipe it with alcohol if needed.
Storage. Store the stakes dry, lying flat or upright under cover; if the coating is damaged, protect the bare metal with paint.
