Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant in sun or partial shade in moist, fertile soil, 30–40 cm apart.
Watering and feeding. Keep the soil evenly moist, especially in flower. Feed with a general fertiliser in spring.
Care. Cut the plant down after the first flush – fresh foliage follows and often more flowers. Divide every few years.
Overwintering. Hardy; cut back old foliage in autumn or spring.
