Jalapeno M chilli pepper seeds (Capsicum annuum) – a classic hot cultivar maturing in about 65–75 days. Fruit is 7.5–8 cm long and red when ripe; the riper the fruit, the hotter it gets.
Perfect for salsas, sauces, stuffing and pickling. Grow from seedlings in a greenhouse or warm spot with plenty of sun and water.

Sowing Sow in February–March in pots 0.5 cm deep (22 °C); prick out and plant into a greenhouse in early June, 50–60 cm apart, like tomatoes.
Care Grow like a tomato: a warm sunny spot or greenhouse, support and regular feeding. It bears white-lilac flowers and needs nights above 10 °C.
Harvest Fruits ripen from August to October; pick when the skin turns yellowish with purple stripes and the fruit yields slightly to a gentle press.
