Vilja is a mid-early, tall (indeterminate) and high-yielding Jõgeva variety.
Each truss carries 4–6 flattened, glossy bright red fruits, about 150 g, with no green spot; the flesh is firm and juicy, and the fruits do not crack and transport well.
Grow in a greenhouse or outdoors. Pack contains 0,1 g of seeds, produced by AKONE.

Advice from our agronomist
When to sow. Sow seeds from late March to early April 0.5–1 cm deep in light peat-based compost; germination needs 22–25 °C.
Planting. Prick out seedlings at the 2–3 true-leaf stage into individual pots. Plant into the greenhouse in mid-May, outdoors only in early June after the last frosts, 40–50 cm apart.
Care. This tall variety needs staking and regular removal of side shoots – train it to one or two stems. Water regularly with warm water, avoiding wet leaves.
Feeding and harvest. Feed every 10–14 days with tomato fertiliser, potassium-rich during flowering. Pick ripe fruit regularly to encourage new ones to ripen.
