Zucchini Wanda is a variety; the fruit is pale green with creamy, fragrant flesh and a thin, delicate skin; harvested fruits stay fresh for a long time.
Young fruits are good for frying, grilling, baking, stuffing and salads, and can also be preserved for winter.

Advice from our agronomist
When to sow. Sow seeds for seedlings in mid-April in 8–10 cm pots at 3–4 cm depth and 20–25 °C; sow directly outdoors in late May – early June, once the soil has warmed to at least 12–15 °C.
Planting. Plant out seedlings with 3–4 true leaves in late May – early June in a sunny spot with rich soil; spacing 70 × 70 cm. Cover plants with fleece if frost threatens.
Care. Water with warm water at the roots, keeping the leaves dry; mulch the soil and remove old leaves that shade the fruits. In cool weather, help the flowers with hand pollination.
Feeding and harvest. Feed every 2–3 weeks with a complete or potassium-rich fertiliser. Pick young fruits every 2–3 days at 15–20 cm; frequent picking encourages new fruits and keeps the skin tender.
