Plant passport
All live plants sold at a distance within the EU carry a plant passport under Regulation (EU) 2016/2031: a label with the botanical name, country code (EE), the operator’s registration number and a traceability code, attached to the plant or packaging.
Operator: ALTRIX OÜ. The passport of a partner’s plant carries the partner’s number in the PTA register.
The passport confirms the plant was grown in a nursery under phytosanitary control and may move freely within the EU. Most flower seeds, soil, fertilisers and garden supplies need no plant passport. Seeds of tomato, pepper, beans, peas, onion, leek, sunflower and some other species carry the producer’s plant passport on the packet.
We do not ship live plants outside the EU (Norway, UK, Switzerland).
