About this product
Lettuce “Bionda a Foglia Riccia” (Lactuca sativa) is an Italian loose-leaf lettuce whose name means “blonde with curly leaves”. The leaves are pale yellowish green and heavily frilled, and it does not form a head.
The seed is organically grown (Organic Way). You can pick the leaves one by one all summer, and it is one of the quickest lettuces: the first leaves can be cut just two to three weeks after emergence.
The pack contains 2 g. Made by Organic Way.

Advice from our agronomist
Pick the outer leaves. Cut the outer leaves of the rosette and leave the heart — the plant regrows and crops for weeks.
Sow in succession. A new short row every 3 weeks keeps the leaves young and tender all summer.
Keep the soil moist. Drought makes leaves coarse and bitter; in hot weather lettuce prefers part shade.
