Lettuce "Blonde de Paris", 1 g
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Lettuce “Blonde de Paris” (Lactuca sativa) is an old French lettuce of the batavia type. Its pale green leaves with slightly frilly edges are as crisp as iceberg, but juicier and tastier.
Batavia sits between two worlds: the head is looser than an iceberg, so leaves can also be picked one at a time, and the plant copes better with summer heat without bolting straight away.
The pack contains 1 g. Made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in succession. Lettuce matures all at once: sow a short row every 2-3 weeks for fresh heads all summer.
Leave room for the head. Thin to 25-30 cm — in a crowded row no head forms and the leaves start to rot.
Water evenly, in the morning. Drought makes the leaf bitter and sends lettuce to seed; evening watering over the leaves invites rot.
