Lettuce "Crisp Mint", 1 g

About this product
Lettuce “Crisp Mint” (Lactuca sativa) — a romaine (cos) lettuce named for the shape of its leaves: wavy and crinkled, they resemble a large mint leaf. The head is upright, the leaves juicy with a crunchy midrib.
The taste is sweet with no bitterness. As a cos type it is ideal for Caesar salad and for grilling, and thanks to its sturdy leaves it holds up in the bowl for a long time without wilting.
The pack contains 1 g. Made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in succession. Lettuce matures all at once: sow a short row every 2-3 weeks for fresh heads all summer.
Leave room for the head. Thin to 25-30 cm — in a crowded row no head forms and the leaves start to rot.
Water evenly, in the morning. Drought makes the leaf bitter and sends lettuce to seed; evening watering over the leaves invites rot.
