Lettuce "Grand Rapids" on seed tape, 4 m
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Lettuce “Grand Rapids” on seed tape (Lactuca sativa) is an old American loose-leaf lettuce with light green, heavily frilled leaves that does not form a head. It is an early variety with crisp, mild-tasting leaves.
The seeds are already placed on a paper tape at the correct spacing: lay the tape in a drill, cover with a thin layer of soil and water. No thinning is needed and no seed is wasted, which is especially handy when sowing with children and along long rows.
Tape length 4 m. Made by Lucia Elite.

Advice from our agronomist
Make a drill and wet it. Draw a drill about 1 cm deep and water it before laying the tape.
Cover thinly and firm. The tape must be in close contact with the soil, or the paper dries and the seed fails.
Keep moist until emergence. For the first 7-10 days the surface must not dry out; after that pick outer leaves all summer.
