Lettuce "Grand Rapids", 2 g
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Lettuce “Grand Rapids” (Lactuca sativa) — an old American leaf lettuce with light green leaves and strongly frilled edges. It forms no head; the plant grows as a dense, lush bunch.
The variety is early and quick: the first leaves can be picked within a couple of weeks of emergence. The leaves are crisp and mild, and “Grand Rapids” also does well in the greenhouse and as the first spring sowing, as it tolerates cool conditions.
The pack contains 2 g. Made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Pick the outer leaves. Cut the outer leaves of the rosette and leave the heart — the plant regrows and crops for weeks.
Sow in succession. A new short row every 3 weeks keeps the leaves young and tender all summer.
Keep the soil moist. Drought makes leaves coarse and bitter; in hot weather lettuce prefers part shade.
