Lettuce “Grünetta” (Lactuca sativa) — a leaf lettuce with light green frilly leaves that grows as a dense, lush rosette. It forms no head, so you can pick leaf by leaf without pulling up the plant.
“Grünetta” is undemanding and fast-growing, suited both to open ground and to pots and balcony boxes. The leaves are crisp, the taste fresh and mild. Sown in succession, it gives fresh leaves from spring to autumn.
