Lettuce "Grand Rapids", 2 g, Žalia stotelė
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Lettuce «Grand Rapids» (Lactuca sativa) — an old American loose-leaf lettuce with pale green, heavily frilled leaves. It forms no head, growing as a dense, full bunch.
The variety is early and quick: the first leaves can be picked a couple of weeks after emergence. The leaf is crisp and mild, and «Grand Rapids» suits the greenhouse and the very first spring sowing, as it tolerates cool conditions.
Pack of 2 g. Made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Pick the outer leaves. Cut the outer leaves of the rosette and leave the heart — the plant regrows and crops for weeks.
Sow in succession. A new short row every 3 weeks keeps the leaves young and tender all summer.
Keep the soil moist. Drought makes leaves coarse and bitter; in hot weather lettuce prefers part shade.
