About this product
Lettuce «Great Lakes 118» (Lactuca sativa) — a classic iceberg, one of the best-known varieties of all. The head is large and dense, the leaf crisp with excellent flavour.
It takes 70-90 days. Iceberg is ideal for fresh salads and sandwiches, as the leaf neither flops nor wilts quickly. Grown outdoors for summer and autumn crops.
Pack of 1 g. Made by AGRONOM.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in succession. Lettuce matures all at once: sow a short row every 2-3 weeks for fresh heads all summer.
Leave room for the head. Thin to 25-30 cm — in a crowded row no head forms and the leaves start to rot.
Water evenly, in the morning. Drought makes the leaf bitter and sends lettuce to seed; evening watering over the leaves invites rot.
