About this product
Lettuce «Maravilla de Verano» (Lactuca sativa) — a medium-late batavia whose Spanish name means «summer marvel». It is resistant to disease and bolting, which makes it ideal for summer crops when other lettuces run to seed.
The plant is open, the head large, up to 800 g. Inner leaves are green, outer ones have wavy crimson edges, crisp and very tasty. It also suits baby-leaf production.
Pack of 1 g. Made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in succession. Lettuce matures all at once: sow a short row every 2-3 weeks for fresh heads all summer.
Leave room for the head. Thin to 25-30 cm — in a crowded row no head forms and the leaves start to rot.
Water evenly, in the morning. Drought makes the leaf bitter and sends lettuce to seed; evening watering over the leaves invites rot.
