Peas

Peas are one of the easiest vegetables to grow and suit the cool Estonian spring well. Shelling peas are grown for the seeds inside the pod, while sugar snap and mangetout types are eaten pod and all. Young peas are sweet fresh and freeze well.

Sow outdoors once the soil is workable. Taller varieties need a support or netting. Peas also enrich the soil with nitrogen. Order from ALLIKASILM with delivery across Estonia and the EU.
